Hulk Hogan filed a civil suit against ex-wife Linda Bollea Thursday, claiming she defamed him in her new book Wrestling the Hulk — My Life Against the Ropes, according to the St. Petersburg Times.
In the book, and subsequent interviews to promote it, Bollea claims that Hogan (real name: Terry Bollea) physically abused her and also had a sexual relationship with male wrester Brutus Beefcake.
Hulk Hogan remarries, but not without a fight
Hogan is seeking a trial by jury to stop Bollea from making any additional comments. "He's being accused of all sorts of vile conduct that he did not commit," said Wil Florin, Hogan's attorney. "Miss Bollea's made enough of these outrageous allegations that it's time they stop. The only realistic way of making them stop is through the court system."
Bollea filed for divorce from Hogan after 23 years in 2007. They have two children together: Brooke and Nick. Hogan wed girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel last December.
