Hugh Laurie to Play RoboCop Villain?

You can't keep a good curmudgeon down: House's Hugh Laurie is in talks to star as the villain in the new RoboCop film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
If cast, Laurie will star opposite Joel Kinnaman (The Killing), who plays the titular cop-turned-cyborg hero, Alex Murphy.

Gary Oldman is set to play Murphy's scientist-creator and Samuel L. Jackson will play a media mogul. Jose Padilha will direct the remake of the 1987 sci-fi flick.
Laurie's eight-season run as Dr. Gregory House ended last month.
