CBS Announces Finale Date for How I Met Your Mother

The central mystery on How I Met Your Mother will wrap up this spring, when the sitcom airs its series finale on Monday, March 31, CBS announced Thursday.

The special one-hour final episode will lead into a preview episode of James Van Der Beek's new series Friends with Better Lives.

On April 7, Friends with Better Lives will move to its regular time slot, Mondays at 8:30/7:30c. Also, beginning April 14, 2 Broke Girls will move into its new time slot, Mondays at 8/7c.

The series finale of HIMYM will air at 8/7c on March 31. Will you be sorry to see the show sign off?
