House of Cardsis currently filming its Season 2 finale, but will that also be the political drama's series finale?

Co-executive producer Rick Cleveland seems to think so. "House of Cards is only going to go a second season and I think that's it," he said at the Vancouver International Film Festival last week, according to GoldDerby.com. "Kevin Spacey likes to do movies and Robin Wright likes to do movies."

When Netflix originally ordered the show to series in March 2011, it handed out a two-season, 13-episode order. Executive producer David Fincher, who won an Emmy for directing the pilot, is not returning for Season 2. However, both Spacey and Wright will be taking turns behind the camera to direct episodes this season, according to the website.

Both Spacey and Wright received Emmy nominations for their roles in the series, which was adapted from the 1990 BBC mini-series of the same name. The series earned a total of nine Emmy nominations, and took home three awards.

House of Cards will return in 2014.
