Here's the unique premise: Sam Tyler (Jason O'Mara) is a present-day NYPD detective who's hit by a car and knocked unconscious in tonight's series opener. When he wakes up, he's inexplicably in 1973. The great ensemble cast includes Harvey Keitel as Tyler's hard-nosed boss, Michael Imperioli as Det. But the request isn't as scandalous as it may seem — he'd like her to microwave dinner and care about his day.
