Just when she thought she was out...

Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is trying to leave her old CIA life behind her on the upcoming fifth season of Homeland, but that may be easier said than done.

A new trailer for Season 5, which premieres in the fall, shows Saul (Mandy Patinkin) accusing Carrie of being "naïve and stupid" and asking her, "What are you atoning for?"

"I'm just trying to do good work," she responds. Oh, Carrie, we've heard that one before.

The 30-second clip also gives us a couple glimpses of Quinn (Rupert Friend), and appears to show Carrie being kidnapped (!) at one point, getting dragged away as a black bag is shoved over her head. But thankfully, there are no signs of any Brody hallucinations.

Homeland Season 5 scoop: Massive time jump, Carrie's out of the CIA

Season 5 of Homeland picks up two and a half years after the events of Season 4, with Carrie on a self-imposed exile in Germany and no longer working for the CIA.

Homeland returns in the fall on Showtime. Check out the trailer below:
