We're inching ever closer to a movie adaptation of MTV's The Hills, which premiered 10 years ago this week.

According to Entertainment Weekly, stars Kristin Cavallari, Whitney Port and Audrina Patridge have all expressed interest in reuniting for a feature film on the landmark reality series but there's one holdup: Lauren Conrad.

Laguna Beach turns 10! Series creator spills on "Wild Child" Lo, sensitive Stephen and the show's legacy.

Of course, The Hills made Lauren Conrad--and vice versa, she's since gone on to become a savvy businesswoman whose growing empire includes clothing and a series of books.

While the feature would start with Patridge's wedding of in Australia and then catch up with the rest of the cast all now in their 30s, the fate of the movie hinges on Conrad's involvement — a fact she is no doubt banking on.

Will she get on board? Her rep declined comment, but Conrad has announced she'll appear in the TV special, The Hills: That Was Then, This is Now, set to air August 2 at 10/9c on MTV. Maybe that's a good sign.
