Is Heroes Returning to TV?

NBC's Heroes, which ran from 2006 to 2010, is being mulled for a reboot on Xbox, as part of an original programming push by MSN, according to TVLine.com. Details about the project are scarce. The proposed reboot would introduce new heroes and story lines, with the possibility of cameos from the original cast, which included Hayden Panettiere (Nashville), Milo Ventimiglia, Ali Larter, and Masi Oka (Hawaii Five-0).

MSN hired former NBC development executive Jada Miranda to oversee production of Xbox's entertainment studio. Miranda will report to Nancy Tellem, formerly CBS' president.

After starting like a house on fire, Heroes limped to finish at 77 episodes. Notably, it fell well short of the 100-episode syndication landmark — despite nominations for Emmys, Golden Globes, People's Choice Awards, and NAACP Image Awards.
