What's the best way for a multimillionaire and usually fashionable A-list couple to celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary? Mexican food, beer, cornrows for the bride and a rockin' mullet for the groom.
Inspired by the country's non-millionaires, Heidi Klum and Seal went decidedly casual for their wacky and tacky vow renewal ceremony on Saturday. Klum wore her blonde tresses in cornrows and slipped into a sequined lace gown, while her husband donned an American flag shirt and a "party in the back" '80s-style mullet. Guests played dress up too, arriving in cut-off jean shorts and leopard-print and leather jackets. The ceremony was presided over by an Elvis impersonator, People reports.
The lovebirds usually renew their vows in Mexico, where they married in 2005, but changed plans due to the swine flu scare. Instead, the couple and their 75 guests, including Debra Messing, enjoyed Mexican food and beer at the stateside soiree.
Klum and Seal had something else to celebrate this weekend too. Seal announced on Oprah on Friday that Klum was pregnant with a girl. The two are parents to Leni, 5, Henry, 3, and Johan, 2.
