Heath Ledger's Final Film Resumes Shooting

The last film that
Heath Ledger was working on before his death,
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, is back in production in Vancouver, according to the
Reporter. Director
Terry Gilliam and producers halted production when Ledger died Jan. 22.
Now that the film's back in action, producers have also explained how Ledger's part will be handled, following the addition of
three new actors. In a statement, they said, "Since the format of the story allows for the preservation of his entire performance, at no point will Heath's work be modified or altered through the use of digital technology. Each of the parts played by
Johnny [Depp],
Colin [Farrell] and
Jude [Law] is representative of the many aspects of the character that Heath was playing."
