Keck's Exclusives First Look: Hawaii Five-0's Lost Reunions

Hawaii Five-0 is beefing up Chin Ho's (Daniel Dae Kim) presence in Season 4. One upcoming episode will flash back to his first meeting with his late wife, the circumstances surrounding the loss of his badge and his time under the mentorship of McGarrett's father, John. But first, the season kicks off with a pair of episodes that welcome two of Kim's former Lost costars. Henry Ian Cusick (the time-jumping Desmond) guest stars in the Sept. 27 premiere as the villainous Ernesto, who holds the team hostage. "He's tied in to some baddies we introduced last season," says exec producer Peter Lenkov.

Then, in Episode 3, Jorge Garcia (Lost's lovable Hurley) begins a potentially recurring role as Jerry, a conspiracy theorist whom the team consults. "He's going to be sort of the fifth member of Five-0," says Lenkov. "Jerry still lives in his mom's basement. He's the boy who cried wolf whom nobody ever believed, but he finally gets validated." (Kim advises Lost fans to listen for an in-joke regarding island life.)

"Ian still lives here in Hawaii, and we have dinner regularly," Kim says. "I was aware of his casting, but I learned about Jorge via Twitter."

With Terry O'Quinn also returning this season as Joe White, Kim's Lost-alum wish list is almost complete. "I would love to welcome Harold Perrineau [Michael] and Josh Holloway [Sawyer]," he says, "but now that Josh is doing another CBS show [Intelligence], we might have to do an Intelligence/Hawaii Five-0 crossover."
