HATCH UPDATE

Richard Hatch has agreed to plead guilty to two counts of tax evasion for failing to report income, including his $1 million Survivor jackpot. As part of the plea deal, he'll likely avoid the maximum sentence of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a full-body wax. Meanwhile, Survivor creator Mark Burnett told me last night at CBS's press tour party that he's known about Hatch's IRS problems "for months. The first thing the government does in this situation is call the people who wrote the check." His reaction? "I have honestly given up trying to think what's in the minds of my ex-Survivors and Apprentices. That's a whole other show there."
