A HAPPY ENDING FOR ALLY AND LARRY?

Robert Downey Jr., who heads back to court next week in his latest drug possession case, has agreed to return to Fox's Ally McBeal for eight more episodes. "Working on Ally McBeal has been such a satisfying process that I'm grateful to have been asked to continue on for the remainder of the season," said the actor, who resurfaces in the Feb. 26 episode. So far this season, Downey has appeared in 10 episodes of the dramedy playing Calista Flockhart's love interest. In the Feb. 5 show, his character, Larry Paul, moved back to Detroit to be near his son.
