Grey's Anatomy Mega Buzz: More of Jo's Troubled Past Will Be Revealed

Not much is known about Jo's (Camilla Luddington) past on Grey's Anatomy but that could all change very soon. The series is set to explore more of the Chief Resident's background sometime in the near future.

"There is a particular episode that comes up later this season where we do get more of a glimpse into perhaps what Jo's life was like," Luddington tells TV Guide.

So far, we know that she changed her name from Brooke and was a student of Paul Stadler's (Matthew Morrison) before entering an abusive marriage with him. Now that he's back in the picture, it's not surprising that more details about who she was and where she came from will continue to surface. And while we're looking forward to getting to know her on a deeper level, unpeeling those layers will take some time.

"That won't happen for a little while," added Luddington.

Although it's unclear when exactly this will happen, we're glad to know that it's coming this season.
