It's the news Gilmore Girls fans have been waiting for! After lengthy negotiations, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has inked a deal to return next season as show runner, sources confirm. The pact, finalized last week, also calls for her hubby, Dan Palladino, to continue on as co-executive producer for what would be Girls' sixth season. I say "would" because WB hasn't officially renewed the show, although, let's face it, it's coming back.
