We already know that Fox's upcoming Batman prequel series Gotham will highlight the backstory of Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz). But a new teaser for the show also hints at the origin stories of some of the Caped Crusader's biggest enemies.
The 30-second clip features a voice-over by Commissioner Jim Gordon (Benjamin McKenzie), who ominously warns that "a little girl, a low-level thug, and a businesswoman will become the most dangerous villains around."
The most outrageous TV deaths
The little girl, who witnesses the murder of Bruce's parents, is Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova), who grows up to be Catwoman. The businesswoman and the thug are Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith) and her bullied lackey Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor). Copplepot eventually becomes The Penguin, though it's unclear which — if any — of the comic book characters Fish Mooney will turn into.
