The Goodwin Games Replaces Jake Lacy With T.J. Miller

T.J. Miller, Jake Lacy

T.J. Miller will replace Jake Lacy on the Fox midseason show The Goodwin Games, Deadline reports.

Miller, 31, joins Becki Newton and Scott Foley on the series, about three siblings who reconnect following their father's death. He leaves them his vast fortune — but only if they agree to his unusual terms. Miller will play the youngest offspring, Jimmy, a thief just out of jail who is big on heart but lacks impulse control.

Before The Goodwin Games, Miller played a similar role in another Fox comedy pilot that was not picked up — Little Brother. He has appeared in Cloverfield, Our Idiot Brother and She's Out of My League. Lacy previously starred on ABC's short-lived Better With You.

The Goodwin Games comes from How I Met Your Mother producers Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Chris Harris.
