The Good Wife already boasts a long roster of big-name upcoming guest stars, but the CBS legal drama is making room for two fan favorites to return.

Dallas Roberts and Anika Noni Rose are set to reprise their roles later this season, TVGuide.com has learned.

Grey's T.R. Knight to operate on The Good Wife

Roberts, who plays Alicia's rebellious, outspoken younger brother Owen, will appear when Stockard Channing makes her debut as Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Owen's mom. Although Roberts recently joined The Walking Dead, Good Wife creators and executive producers Robert and Michelle King are eager to have both mother and brother back later this season. "We're trying to get Dallas for more than one as we are trying to get Stockard for more than one," Robert King tells TVGuide.com. "You never know what you're going to get when you throw people together but after the first day of dailies, we said, 'OK, let's try to book him and her for the future.'"

A slightly less friendly face reentering the mix is Rose, who plays Wendy Scott-Carr, Peter's former opponent for Cook County State's Attorney and the special prosecutor who helped get Will (Josh Charles) suspended from the law for six months. Last fans saw Wendy, she was being shown the door by boss Peter after she tried to embarrass Alicia in front of a grand jury. This season it will be a case that brings her back. As of this time, Rose is booked for one episode but "it could extend to three," according to Robert King. Rose is currently recurring on the final season of Private Practice as Sam's (Taye Diggs) mentally ill sister and will also guest-star on the Nov. 1 episode of CBS' Elementary.
