The more the merrier!
The news comes one day after NBC decided to pull the remaining episodes of his freshman sitcom, The Michael J. Fox Show, off the air. Shooting on the comedy's first season wrapped several weeks ago, leaving room for Fox to return to the courtroom.
"We're trying to make that work because he finished filming his show, so it looks like we're going to get a chance to get him back," co-creator and executive producer Robert King told reporters last month at the Television Critics Association winter TV previews. Fox has earned three Emmy nominations for his work on The Good Wife.
The big question is what Fox's character, Louis Canning, will make of Alicia's sudden decision earlier this season to leave Lockhart/Gardner and start her own firm, especially since Canning (unsuccessfully) offered her a job once before.
The Good Wife returns with new episodes on Sunday, March 9 at 9/8c on CBS. Are you excited for Fox's return?
