One of TV's biggest casts is downsizing.

Original Glee stars Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Harry Shum, Jr. and Heather Morris will not be returning as series regulars for the show's upcoming fifth season, TVLine reports.

In addition, former star Dianna Agron, who only appeared in a handful of episodes last season will not be returning except for a possible guest appearance. (After all, how much drama could the writers possibly throw at Quinn after putting her through a teen pregnancy, a car accident and that horrible pink hair phase?)

Riley, Salling, Shum and Morris may also return as occasional guest stars. The news also comes as no surprise for fans of Mercedes and Mike, who both moved away from Lima after graduating in Season 3 and only popped up on holidays and to teach the new kids the hand jive, natch.

However, the news is a little more unexpected for fans of Puck and Brittany. Despite graduating in Season 3, Puck made fairly frequent appearances last season after his half-brother, Jake (Jacob Artist), joined New Directions. Brittany, meanwhile, abruptly left McKinley High at the end of last season to begin her college career early at MIT. It is unknown whether her beloved web series, "Fondue for Two," will continue with a new host and whether her cat, Lord Tubbington, will still make appearances.

Glee was renewed for Seasons 5 and 6 this past spring. Season 5 premieres on Sept. 19 on Fox. Which character will you miss the most?
