Two years after she revealed she had breast cancer, Giuliana Rancic opened up about her battle to CBS News. Ranic, who underwent a double mastectomy in 2011, said that her battle with breast cancer no longer defines her reality. "I used to think about it a lot more, that's for sure, especially in the beginning," Rancic said. "And I remember thinking I would never live in a world where I wouldn't think about it 100 times a day and that was daunting to me.

"I think I have come to a really good place where it doesn't take over my life every day," she continued, adding that October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month is obviously an exception. "I'm not as sad and kind of rattled by it like I used to be. Now it's more about empowering other women and talking about it in a more positive way."
