Gilmore Girls
Rory's fighting with Lorelai. Lorelai's fighting with Luke. Luke's fighting with T.J. T.J.'s fighting with well, you get the idea. This ep hurt way too much the first time around. (Who could forget the look of complete devastation on Rory's face when Luke blurted out that he and Lorelai were engaged?) And you know what? It's even tougher to watch all over again. That's because the mother and child reunion (and the bonding that ensued) was so, so satisfying. All of the sniping, the game playing, the arguing on the side of the road as cars are whizzing by well that's just the stuff of Emily and Richard. Our girls are better than that, right? Lorelai doesn't need Paul Anka. Rory doesn't need the DAR. And Grams and Gramps? Well, they just need to get a life. In the meantime, here's an idea: Rent out the pool house to Logan. Then double-lock the door.
