Other than the fact he loves chow and hates humans, there's very little Gilmore Girls fans know about Michel (Yanic Truesdale). But that's all about to change!

"We kind of haven't seen Michel outside of work really," Truesdale told Us Weekly. "I think very rarely he was outside of the Inn. And we didn't know much about his personal life. So this time is different. We know much more."

8 reasons Dave Rygalski is the best Gilmore Girls guy

The only previous time Gilmore Girls explored Michel's life beyond his relationships with his co-workers Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Sookie (Melissa McCarthy), was when his flamboyant mother (Janet Hubert) visited in Season 2. However, the anticipated four-part Netflix revival will not only explore Michel's personal life, but may even give Michel his own romantic storyline!

"That is nice for me as an actor because it gives me a backstory," Truesdale said. "But it gives me meat for the character because he, you know, I definitely have an arc and stuff going on in my personal life that affect the character. So the fans can expect to discover more about Michel."
