Geraldo Rivera Tweets Nearly-Nude Photo

You're only as old as you tweet.

Fox News commentator Geraldo Rivera tweeted a picture of himself wearing nothing but a towel over the weekend, to the horror of Twitter users everywhere.  "70 is the new 50," Rivera captioned the photo in the wee hours of Sunday morning. "Erica [Levy, his wife] and family are going to be so pissed...but at my age... "

Rivera turned 70 on July 4th. He and Levy, 38, married in 2003 and have a 7-year-old daughter together. He also has four other children from a previous marriage.

Among those appalled by the picture was Meghan McCain, who tweeted, "Thanks internet, I cannot unsee Geraldo Rivera's naked selfie. So much wrong. So. Much. Wrong..." Rivera's Fox News colleague Greg Gutfield also chimed in, tweeting, "'Our thoughts and prayers are with Geraldo's towel,' says the president of Bed Bath and Beyond."

Rivera later removed the photo, posting on Sunday evening, "Note to self: no tweeting after 1am." But it will live on in Internet infamy.
