G4 has put the finishing touches on its summer schedule, which again includes plenty of live coverage at the E3 Expo and Comic-Con events.
As the official broadcaster of E3 through 2013, G4 will carry live coverage of the trade show beginning Monday, June 4 at 3/2c and continue through Thursday, June 7. The coverage includes live breaking news and major press conferences, as well as hands-on game demos and more info for gamers on the channel's G4tv.com website.
G4 will also broadcast six hours of live coverage from the floor of Comic-Con in San Diego, which takes place from July 12 through July 15. Other summer programming includes the X-Play special Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Alpha (Thursday, May 3 at 6:30/5:30c), a short film tied to the upcoming video game "Ghost Recon Future Soldier."
American Ninja Warrior, which G4 will share with NBC this summer, will air Sundays at 9/8c starting May 20. And the channel will air the five-night event Top 100 Video Games of All Time at 8/7c from June 11 to June 15. The special will count down the defining moments in gaming history via interviews with celebrities, athletes, musicians and game designers.
