We are SO excited for Gia!

The greatest thing about a revival of a nostalgic television show is that it allows you to catch up with characters that you thought you had to say goodbye to a long time ago.

Fuller House did a great job of bringing back fan favorites from the original Full Houseseries in their first season, and we got a chance to really get to know the Tanner-Fuller family now that the girls have all grown up. Still, there were some faces that didn't make it in Round 1 that we'd love to see pop up in the second season -- from former best friends to missing siblings and ex-flames.

Gia (Marla Sokoloff)

Gia (Marla Sokoloff) was Stephanie's (Jodie Sweetin) best friend in the original series. Yes, she was a bit of a bad influence, but our stomachs all respectively dropped when she ended up in a car crash with Stephanie's friends. She has already been confirmed to return for Season 2, and we can't wait to see if Gia has maintained her bad girl edge or if she's also reformed like Stephanie.

Denise and Teddy (Jurnee Smollett Bell and Taj Mowry)

Okay, Denise (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Teddy (Taj Mowry) were both friends of Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), and we know the latter won't be joining the series, but does that mean there's no room for them on the show? They could still be in the neighborhood and come to visit. They were hilarious together and with Michelle, and a large part of Michelle's elementary school years.

Fuller House: Who should win the war for DJ's heart?

Garth

We know that we'll meet a younger Gibbler sibling this season, who is a potential love interest for Stephanie, but we haven't heard anything about Garth. Garth was Kimmy's (Andrea Barber) older brother in the original series, but was only mentioned and never seen. We'd totally be down for a full Gibbler reunion if we got it though.

Duane (Scott Menville)

Speaking of Gibbler connections, whatever happened to Duane (Scott Menville)? DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) is getting to reunite with all her old exes on the show, so it seems only fair for Kimmy to have a run-in with her high school flame Duane. Sure, he wasn't much for conversation beyond his standard "Whatever" greeting, but he was an important part of Kimmy's adolescence.

The Beach Boys

New Kids on the Block are making a cameo in the second season of Fuller House, but that doesn't mean we should forget the first iconic band to bond with the Tanner family. The Beach Boys made multiple appearances during the original run of the series and it'd be great to see them back in the family home -- especially if it means another sing along with Uncle Jesse (John Stamos).
