ABC has found another way to milk the success of Disney's Frozen.
The network, which is adding several characters from the movie to the fourth season of Once Upon a Time, has scheduled an all new behind-the-scenes special about the Oscar-winning film.
Once Upon a Time defrosts first official photos of Frozen cast
The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic will premiere Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 8/7c and will offer viewers a rare look inside Walt Disney Animation Studios to reveal the origins of the film, which is now the biggest animated feature of all time.
In addition to interviews with the stars, directors, artists and songwriters — among many others — the special will take Frozen fans to the beautiful Norwegian villages and landscapes that inspired the look of Arendelle, the fictional kingdom in which the story is set.
The Story of Frozen will also include new intel about the next chapter of the Frozen story as well as a never-before-seen preview of the Frozen characters' upcoming appearance on Once Upon a Time. A new sneak peek at Disney's upcoming animated film Big Hero 6 will conclude the hour-long special.
