Stock up on strawberry milkshakes and red vines: The seriesfinale of Fringeis upon us.

The two-hour series finale, also marking the 100th episode, will air Friday, Jan. 18, Fox announced Friday.

"Above all else, from the bottom of my heart, I would like to personally thank everyone involved with Fringe," executive producer J.H. Wyman said in a statement. "From the most amazing fans, to our incredible cast, writers and crew, and our wonderful partners at Fox and Warner Bros. — we would not be here without you. It simply cannot be overstated how grateful I am for the ongoing and unconditional support we have received over the past five seasons."

How will the Fringe team deal with Etta's death?

In September, Wyman initially tweeted that the series finale would air on Feb. 1, though Fox declined to confirm the date of the finale, which will be written and directed by Wyman.
The fifth and final season takes place in 2036 — where the Observers have enslaved humanity — as teased in last season's 19th episode, in which an FBI agent named Etta (Georgina Haig) attempted to free the ambered Fringe Division so they could save the Earth. It turned out, Etta was actually the grown-up daughter of Peter (Joshua Jackson) and Olivia (Anna Torv), who met her demise at the hands of the Observers last week.

Will you miss Fringe?

Fringe airs Fridays at 9/8c on Fox.
