Variety hears that the Peacock has already had talks with the likes of the CW, E!, G4 and TNT - and next may woo DirecTV - about sharing
Friday Night Lights across staggered broadcast windows (à la
Law & Order: Criminal Intent, which premieres new stuff on USA, then encores on NBC).
Alas, sources tell the trade that one stumbling block could be NBC's high asking price to share the series. NBC reps had no comment on the report.
