Frances Bean Cobain Married Her Kurt Cobain-Lookalike Boyfriend — and Didn't Tell Mom Courtney Love

Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, married her longtime boyfriend Isaiah Silver last week and kept the ceremony a secret from everyone - including her mom.

E! News reports that Cobain and Silver, who have been together for five years, have been planning the wedding for more than a year, and the guest list included fewer than 15 people.

Cobain, 23, and her mother have certainly had their ups and downs over the years, but a source tells E! that Love "was devastated to learn that Frances had gotten married without her knowing."

Cobain reportedly called her mother afterwards to smooth things over, according to the source, who adds: "This has not caused a rift between mom and daughter. Courtney was sad, but she's cool."

A passive-aggressive Instagram post from Love suggests otherwise, however. On Saturday, she put up a photo saying she has no regrets about "being a no-show at any important events this week" because she was hanging out with model/actor James Norley.
