Fox has given early renewals to comedies Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mindy Projectand New Girl, as well as sophomore drama The Following, the network announced Friday.

"These shows are some of the best and acclaimed series on television, with influential, culture-driving stars, and some of the best, most creative talent behind the camera," said Fox Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly and Chief Operating Officer Joe Earley. "All four are core assets within our 2014-2015 portfolio of content, and we're really happy to bring them back to our Fox fans for another season."

Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which will return for a second season,has been a rising star for the network, snagging a Golden Globe Award for both the show and star Andy Samberg. Both The Mindy Project and The Following will be heading into their third seasons, while New Girl was picked up for its fourth season.

As previously announced, Gleewas already renewed for its sixth season, Sleepy Hollowfor its second and Bonesits 10th season.
