Dads, a live-action comedy from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, stars Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi as two successful thirtysomethings who have their lives turned upside down when their fathers (Martin Mull and Peter Riegert) move in with them. Vanessa Lachey, Brenda Song and Tonita Castro also star. Alec Sulkin, Wellesley Wild, Mark Cendrowski will executive-produce alongside MacFarlane.
From Parks and Recreation's Mike Schur and Dan Goor, Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg as the black sheep in a group of detectives who, until now, hasn't taken his job seriously. But a by-the-book new boss (Andre Braugher) may force him to grow up and respect the badge. 30 Rock's David Miner will also executive-produce, while Terry Crews, Joe Lo Truglio, Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz and Chelsea Peretti will also star in the series, which landed on TVGuide.com's most promising pilots list.
Enlisted stars Geoff Stults as a soldier who, after being in combat for several years, is posted at a military base in Florida to command his dysfunctional brothers' (Chris Lowell and Parker Young) squad. Cougar Town's Kevin Biegel will write and executive-produce with Saturday Night Live's Mike Royce. Keith David and Angelique Cabral will also star.
Us & Them follows a couple's (Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel) long-distance, budding romance, which is constantly disrupted by their friends and family in this comedy based on the British series Gavin and Stacey. David Rosen (I Just Want My Pants Back) will write and executive-produce. Dustin Ybarra, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Jane Kaczmarek, Kurt Fuller and Ashlie Atkinson will also star.
Based on the book I Suck at Girls, Surviving Jack stars Christopher Meloni as a father who struggles with becoming a dad as his teenage son (Connor Buckley) becomes a man — all in a pre-Google world. S#*! My Dad Says duo Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker will write and executive-produce with Cougar Town's Bill Lawrence. Claudia Lee, Alex Kapp Horner, Tyler Foden and Kevin Hernandez will also star.
From Fringe's Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, Sleepy Hollow is a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving's classic. The series sees Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) resurrected and pulled through time to partner up with Sleepy Hollow's sheriff (Nicole Beharie) to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. Orlando Jones and Katia Winter will also star.
Almost Human, from Fringe's J.H. Wyman, is an action-packed buddy drama show set 35 years in the future in which LAPD officers like John Kennex (Karl Urban) are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids like Dorian (Michael Ealy). Wyman will reteam with Lost's J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk, who will serve as executive producers on the drama. The series also stars Minka Kelly, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Crook, Mekia Cox and Michael Irby.
Rake stars Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear as a brilliant, charming defense attorney whose biggest challenges all exist outside the courtroom — money owed to the IRS and a bookie, overlapping affairs, a cranky kid and his exhausted ex-wife. Peter Duncan, creator of the original Australian series, and Rescue Me's Peter Tolan will write and executive-produce. John Ortiz, Miranda Otto, Necar Zadegan, David Harbour, Tara Summers, Ian Colletti and Bojana Novakovic will also star in the series, which landed on TVGuide.com's most promising pilot's list.
In Gang Related, a gang member (Ramon Rodriguez) sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department and rise through its ranks must balance his obligations to his crime family with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new "family": the SFPD's Gang Task Force, led by Lost's Terry O'Quinn. From Fast Five scribe Chris Morgan, V's Scott Rosenbaum and Brian Grazer will also executive-produce. Jay Hernandez, Cliff Curtis, Sung Kang, RZA, Shantel VanSanten and Inbar Lavi will also star.
