Come spring, Glee will be vacating its Thursday timeslot!
Fox has moved Glee back to Tuesdays, scaling the night's two-hour comedy block back to one hour, the network announced Thursday. Taking its place on Thursdays is Greg Kinnear's new legal drama Rake, which will air at 9/8c following American Idol at 8/7c.
Starting Tuesday, Feb. 25, Glee will air at 8/7c, followed by New Girl at 9/8c and Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 9:30/8:30c. The Mindy Project airs its winter finale on Tuesday, Jan. 8 and will return to its Tuesdays at 9:30/8:30 slot when Brooklyn finishes off its run. Dads will continue on Tuesday nights at 8/7c until Tuesday, Feb. 11, and may return at a later date.
Meanwhile, The Following returns with a two-night event starting Sunday, Jan. 19 at 10/9c, following the NFC Championship game. The second night of its two-night premiere event continues with its timeslot premiere on Monday at 9/8c, following the season finale of Sleepy Hollow at 8/7c.
