Talkshow joins its lead-in MADtv on the canceled sidelines as Fox tries to relaunch its Saturday-night slate. Already on deck is a talk show with Wanda Sykes, in development for the fall.
Talkshow premiered in 2006 with the hope of expanding it into weeknights, but it never mustered the buzz to warrant it. It briefly moved to 11 p.m. on Saturday last year before returning to its midnight timeslot.
TVGuide.com's calls to Fox were not immediately returned.
