Fox Developing Event Series About Boston Marathon Bombing

Fox is developing an event series based on the Boston Marathon bombing,Deadline reports.

Straw Dogs' Rod Lurie will write the untitled project, which is based on the bestseller Long Mile Home. The book tells the stories of five real-life people whose lives were changed by the tragedy at the 2013 Boston Marathon. The Town's Basil Iwanyk will produce, along with Kent Kubena and Lurie.

According to Lurie, Fox insists the project stay as accurate as possible. "In this case," Lurie said, "the accurate story is a phenomenal story."
