Meet Mr. Meadow Soprano!

Will Finn DeTrolio marry the mob? That's the question fans of HBO's The Sopranos are asking since Finn recently became engaged to Tony and Carmela's mafia-princess daughter, Meadow. Of course, her previous beaux haven't done too well. So his 24-year-old portrayer, Will Janowitz, feels doubtful he'll reach the altar in one piece. "After Adriana's disappearance, they'll need someone to kill off next season," he jokes to TV Guide Online. "So I think I will be back. Other than that, I'm not really sure."

Speaking of Silvio shooting Drea de Matteo's FBI snitch in the woods, Janowitz says, "I always knew that was coming 'cause she took on that Joey series. Even knowing that, I was still on the edge of my seat watching like, 'Oh God, she's gonna get it!'"

Janowitz sounds as skittish as Finn about Soprano family violence. Still, the native New Yorker doesn't think all Finn's cowering and hyperventilating reflects badly upon him. "I was not worried about looking like a wuss," he laughs. "The funny thing is no one's been like, 'Finn's a p---y' or 'That guy's a dork.' Your average Joe hasn't been involved in violent situations like that, so people on the street understand. They're like, 'Dude, are you gonna get whacked? We're rootin' for you, Finn!' So they're sweet."

Sopranos producer David Chase must like Finn. After all, he cast Annette Bening as Finn's WASPy imaginary mother for Tony's nightmare dream-sequence last Sunday. "The Sopranos has done pretty well by me, so I can't really complain. She was a very sweet woman," Janowitz says. "She has the same astrological sign as me — Gemini! That's nice that I could be spawned from Annette Bening. Though she's a lot more white-bread looking than my real mom, who's Eastern European."

Perhaps we'll meet the actual DeTrolio clan at Finn and Meadow's nuptials. "If we were to get married and if they were to show it onscreen, I think they'd do a big thing," Janowitz predicts. "I don't think it'd be a low-key event. It'd be a very b---s to the wall wedding. It could be quite funny, like a Mickey Blue Eyes thing. Maybe they'll wait and whack Finn at the reception."

The Sopranos' fourth-season finale airs June 6 at 9 pm/ET on HBO.
