HBO has pulled Oliver Stone's controversial documentary about Fidel Castro from its original May airdate as a result of Cuba's recent crackdown on dissidents, reports the April 26 issue of TV Guide magazine (on sale Monday). In Comandante, Stone attempts to paint a human portrait of the Cuban president. Says an HBO rep: "In light of recent events, we felt unless Oliver Stone can return to Cuba and interview Castro, it was somewhat dated and incomplete."
