Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons will co-star as a married couple in the second season of FX's Fargo, Deadline reports.
Dunst's character is Peggy Blomquist, "a small-town beautician with big city dreams who is trying to figure out who she really is and what she really wants as she struggles with traditional societal expectations," according to Deadline. Plemons will play her husband, a butcher's assistant named Ed, who supports his wife but is sometimes perplexed by her.

Season 2 of the anthology series, which will also consist of 10 episodes, will be set in 1979 and will follow State Police Officer Lou Solverson (not yet cast) as he leads a criminal investigation. Production starts in January with an eye for a fall premiere.
Like HBO's True Detective, Fargo will feature a new cast each season.
