FX Sets Premiere Dates for Fargo, American Horror Story: Hotel and The Bastard Executioner

FX announced the premiere dates for its three fall series at the Television Critics Association fall previews Friday.

The Bastard Executioner, the medieval epic from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 10/9c. The series stars Lee Jones as 14th century warrior Wilkin Brattle, whose life is changed forever when, after a tragedy, a mystical healer (Katey Sagal) encourages him take on the identity of a journeyman executioner. True Blood's Stephen Moyer also stars.

American Horror Story returns with its fifth nstallment on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10/9c. The latest chapter, subtitled Hotel, stars Lady Gaga, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Chloë Sevigny, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Finn Wittrock.

The highly anticipated second installment of Fargo premieres on Monday, Oct. 12 at 10/9c. The new season takes place in 1979 in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Luverne, Minn.Patrick Wilson stars a Lou Solverson, a young state trooper investigating a case that entangles a local crime family, a major mob syndicate, and an unwitting beautician (Kirsten Dunst) and her butcher's assistant husband (Jesse Plemmons). Ted Danson, Nick Offerman, Jean Smart, Kieran Culkin and Jeffrey Donovan and Brad Garrett also star.
