When the fourth season of Falling Skies premieres in two months, the weary warriors of the 2nd Mass have little time to savor their recent victory over the alien invaders. The Espheni may have been weakened in last summer's finale, but they are still a threat, and will once again wreak havoc on our heroes.
This past weekend at WonderCon in Anaheim, California, TNT screened a brand new trailer for the season — and TV Guide Magazine has an exclusive online first look. The intense two-minutes-plus montage reveals plenty of action, a mysterious blond-haired woman (though her identity should be clear by the end), a shocking kiss and scattered fates for the 2nd Mass, with many members taking on new roles in the fight for survival. "Everyone goes a little crazy this year," Doug Jones, who plays Cochise of the friendly Volm aliens, told the WonderCon crowd.
Perhaps the most striking change is seen in Anne Glass, the unit's onetime medic, who will become a full-on, gun-toting badass solider. "I get to be this warrior and get enraged and kill, and that's more fun to play," Moon Bloodgood said of her character.
Season 4 of Falling Skies premieres Sunday, June 22 at 10/9c on TNT.
