Fall TV: Get the lowdown on this season's must-see new shows
During the past several weeks, we've conducted a series of polls in our Fall TV Popularity Contest, asking users which shows they liked and which they didn't. The competition was fierce, but after more than 350,000 votes were cast, a champion has emerged: Fox's Sleepy Hollow!
The supernatural drama, which stars Tom Mison as a time-travelling Ichabod Crane who works with a local police officer (Nicole Beharie) to fend off the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, received a whopping 85 percent approval rating from TVGuide.com users. By winning our contest, the show, which is unquestionably the breakout hit of the season, adds another feather to its already impressive cap. Fox has already ordered a second season of the show, setting it up to become a multi-season success just like previous Popularity Contest winners, including Revenge and Arrow.

Nipping at Sleepy Hollow's heels were NBC's crime drama The Blacklist and ABC's superhero procedural Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., both of which have also received full-season pickups. The Blacklist, which stars James Spader and Megan Boone, scored an 81 percent approval rating and gave the Clark Gregg-fronted S.H.I.E.L.D. (66 percent) a bit of a black eye, topping the ABC drama by a solid margin despite its huge Avengers-aided, pre-season buzz.
Also putting up a strong showing: CBS' The Crazy Ones (58 percent) the CW's The Originals (57 percent), and NBC's Dracula (56 percent).
