With all the hubbub of Two and a Half Men's new man Ashton Kutcher taking over for Charlie Sheen on the ninth season premiere Monday night, it might be easy to forget that a comedy from the executive producer of Sex and the City debuted immediately after. The equally numerically descriptive 2 Broke Girls stars Kat Dennings as a sassy waitress who reluctantly befriends privileged but now broke girl Caroline (Beth Behrs).

Over on NBC, The Playboy Club hopped onto the scene, or at least for those affiliates that decided they were okay with Hef's brand of scantily clad women. The period drama stars Eddie Cibrian and Amber Heard as denizens of the first Playboy Club in Chicago in the '60s.
