Fall TV 2016 by the Numbers: From Reboots to Rankings, Here's How the New Season Shakes Out

Over the last month and a half, the five broadcast networks have unleashed nearly two dozen new programs on the viewing public with the hopes of finding the next big thing. Several well-known actors have returned to the airwaves with new projects, including Friends' Matt LeBlanc and 24's Kiefer Sutherland. Meanwhile, reboots of once popular films and shows like Fox's Lethal Weapon continue to find success.

TVGuide.com has crunched the numbers and broken down the new season in order to show how the critics ranked each of the new shows (via their Metacritic scores), the percentage of female-fronted shows to male-led programs and more. We also highlighted some of the fall's most obvious trends (reboots) as well as a few of its surprising developments (a number of great beards).
