This could be the most unusual profile yet on TLC's Extreme Cheapskates. This week's episode (Tuesday at 10/9c), introduces viewers to Roy, who literally freezes his assets to prevent his wife from spending money.

And by "freezes his assets," we mean he packs is credit cards in blocks of ice. Roy also tries to save some bucks by reusing paper towels, salvaging coffee grinds and more.

Extreme Cheapskates follows thrifty people who go beyond the call of duty to live life as cheap as possible. TLC has ordered six episodes of the series.
