Exclusive: Jennifer Landon Joins The Young and the Restless

Jennifer Landon

Her world just turned — big time! Daytime Emmy-winning fan fave Jennifer Landon, daughter of the late TV icon Michael Landon, has won the role of legal eagle Heather Stevens on CBS' The Young and the Restless. She begins shooting the soap May 2 and hits the air June 7. Back in 2005, Landon famously nabbed a one-day gig on As The World Turns and parlayed her offbeat character, Gwen Norbeck, into a three-year deal and three back-to-back Emmys.

At Y&R, Landon will replace another Emmy winner, Eden Riegel (formerly Bianca on All My Children), who played Heather for 18 months only to be ousted last year in a surprise cast purge. When last seen, Heather's reputation and career were in ruin after photos of her drunkenly kissing scumbag Adam Newman were posted on the Restless Style Magazine website — photos taken by her very own brother, Ricky! She fled Genoa City in shame. Is she back with a vengeance?
