Alicia might finally meet her match on The Good Wife.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan makes his debut on the drama Sunday as Jason Crouse, a freelance private investigator who disarms Alicia (Julianna Margulies) with his good looks, wit and mysteriously bandaged hand. And as executive producer Michelle King previously told TVGuide.com, "The sparks do fly."
"I meet her in a job interview and I would describe it as sparky," Morgan says in the exclusive first look above. "I think we're trying to play down the sparky, but it's there, so what are you gonna do? ... He's cool and sparky."
A former lawyer, Jason was disbarred under unknown circumstances, but that of course doesn't stop Alicia from hooking up with him - just professionally for now. "What I love about his character is it's taken her off balance," Margulies says. "Usually she can figure someone out pretty well and she's just completely off balance with him."
Or as Cush Jumbo puts it: "I certainly feel like I'm caught between two pieces of hot toast."
