Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews will take over co-hosting duties on the reality dance competition alongside Tom Bergeron, ABC has announced. Andrews previously appeared on the show as a contestant, dancing with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy in Season 10.

On Friday, Burke-Charvet announced that she had beenunceremoniously fired from the show. Andrews has yet to comment publicly on her hiring.
Last month, ABC also fired DWTS bandleader Harold Wheeler and his entire band.
The new cast will be revealed live on Tuesday, March 4 on Good Morning America. Season 18 premieres on Monday, March 17 at 8/7c on ABC.
