Fox is already hard at work landing big-name guest stars for the second season of Empire.

The hit series has added Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz and Alicia Keys for roles in the next season, Fox TV chairman and CEO Dana Walden announced at Fox's Upfronts presentation on Monday.

Though there are no details on how the stars will be brought into the Empire story, the trio are most likely only the beginning of the show's guest roster for its second season. The show's debut season landed Snoop Dogg, Gladys Knight and Mary J. Blige to name a few.

Fox is also giving Empire a longer second season, upping the episode order from 12 to 18, and rather than premiering in the spring as the show did this year, the drama will return in the fall, with the second half of its season airing in 2016.
