Daytime diva Ellen DeGeneres is taking her Bigger, Longer & Wider TBS variety special to Chicago.
"I love Chicago, and if it weren't for the weather, I'd live there," said DeGeneres. "And you know I've performed many times in the [Chicago Theater], so it's fun to go back to that theater. I kind of started there."
"I have fun doing [variety shows] — it's just something different to do than my show every single day," said DeGeneres. "I grew up watching Rowan and Martin's comedy hour, Carol Burnett, Sonny & Cher and Donny & Marie. I loved those shows. So it's just something I've always been drawn to, and it kind of has something for everybody."
And speaking of variety, the talk show host will even lead fans in singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field. Here's hoping she has better luck than Denise Richards. (Click here if you dare.)
