NBC has picked up a comedy project from Ellen DeGeneres that will star her wife Portia de Rossi, Deadline reports.
The untitled comedy is about dueling sisters, one of whom will be played by de Rossi. Under the deal, NBC must produce a pilot.

DeGeneres will executive-produce with her new A Very Good Production company, along with Samantha Who?'s Don Todd, who will also write the pilot.
The project is the first sale for A Very Good Production and would be de Rossi's first TV gig since Better Off Ted ended last year.
